YANG MING MARINE TRANSPORT CORP. chooses Le Havre for the head office of its new subsidiary YANG MING (FRANCE)

After four decades during which it has been represented by CLB Liner (NAXCO group), the Taiwanese shipping line and the French group NAXCO have now formed a joint venture, YANG MING (France) SAS. This is a major step forward for the ninth largest global shipping line, which has chosen Le Havre to expand its investment in the French market.

HAROPA and Ports of Normandy join forces to help transport operators get ready for Brexit

After successfully completing the work to ensure customs checks can be carried out whilst keeping traffic flowing as smoothly as possible and after several dry runs, the Normandy channel ports - Le Havre for HAROPA and Caen-Ouistreham, Cherbourg and Dieppe for Ports of Normandy - have joined forces to help supply chain actors to be as ready as they can be for Brexit when it comes into force on 1 January next, producing a series of handy fact sheets and organising site visits.

HAROPA voted "Best Green Seaport"

Asia Cargo News magazine, Asia's leading professional press publication, has just revealed the names of the 47 winners of its 2020 Awards. The awards ceremony took place in Hong Kong on Monday 9 November, in the “remote” presence of Laurent Foloppe, HAROPA's Commercial and Marketing Director. The premier French port complex received the "Best Green Seaport" prize, awarded to HAROPA by the magazine's 15,000 readers. HAROPA was competing against the ports of Hamburg, Long Beach and Singapore. This event highlights transport and logistics players who demonstrate excellence in quality of service, innovation, customer satisfaction and reliability.
